1)
A great way to set the color acrylic quickly is to mix 25% acetone,
brush cleaner, or polish remover with nail liquid in your dampen dish.
I recommend using this techniqe only for 3d flowers since the solvents
will evapoate the monomer faster, allowing it to set quickly. This will
give you time to press out the edges of the leaves, giving it a more 3
dimensional look. |

2)
For the two tone effect, wet the tip of your brush with your monomer
mix, and touch the Neon Yellow powder with just the point of the brush.
Immediately, touch the Neon Rose powder to create a two tone effect. |
3) Place the two tone pearl on a workable surface (mixing tile is used in this example). |
4)
Spread the product out like a quarter moon. Use the tip of the brush to
press in the center forcing the majority of the product to the outside. |
5) Set the second quarter moon in the same way. |
6) Use this technique and set three "quarter moon" petals on the outside of the flower. |
7) Set a pearl where the inside of the moon edges meet. |
8)
Press out to create thickness on the outside of the leaf. This will
give it definition on the edges of the petals. |
9) Continue around the inside edges until there is no more space. |
10)
Finalize by adding a small pink pearl to the center of the flower and
use the point of the brush to poke out a small hole in the pearl. |
11) And your beautiful 3d two tone flower is complete. |
